In 2013, Summer attained her bachelor’s in journalism from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She attended Monty Vista High School in Danville, California, where she was a part of the National Honor Society, The Stampede Newspaper, California Scholarship Federation, Cheerleading, and Dance Team. She was thrilled to keep herself on television covering a topic so close to her heart. Shortly after departing from ABC’s WATE, Summer was asked to host a monthly medical show. Summer started developing the symptoms when she was 26, including blurred vision, memory trouble, inability to control temperature, tremors, lightheadedness, constant nausea, headaches, white skin spots, shortness of breath, fatigue, and more. The body malfunctions whenever the person changes from lying down to sitting or standing.
